The vision

    Basically, highlighting the ancient archaeological heritage of our country, Iraq, and being open to the antiquities and civilization of other countries in general, by keeping up with studies, holding seminars and writing research papers to raise a conscious generation that preserves the legacy and benefits from its experience throughout history.

The message

    Revitalizing archaeology from oblivion and seeking to consolidate it globally by using modern scientific mechanisms and techniques that keep up with the development that the world is experiencing at the present time and following up on recent discoveries and proposals related to that science.

Goals

     The goals that faculty focus on s to prepare cadres specialized in archaeology that contribute to strengthening the cultural heritage by supplying the scientific and cognitive arena with scientific and conscious proposals that are far from prolonged and elaborated, and preparing cadres specialized in archaeological excavation and others in decoding and reading ancient linguistic codes.
